Aggregate-schoolers
I'd like to propose a new euphemism for public- and private-schoolers: aggregate-schoolers. While it should be immensely insulting to those who partake of such an inferior form of education, it's probably just subtle enough to escape such offense, especially among those generally less likely to perceive subtleties.
With only very few exceptions, my research shows most private schools are not significantly better than government schools, so it's reasonable to lump them together. Besides, even the best of private schools suffer from the inefficient design of the classroom. Aggregate-schoolers, be they public or private, all lack the numerous advantages of homeschoolers. A common euphemism is therefore fair.
"Traditional-schoolers" certainly doesn't fit, because schooling in aggregate is not traditional. Homeschooling is historically the norm by far, with aggregate-schooling a mostly modern perversion.
A nice double entendre in "aggregate-schoolers" is how they're managed. Success (on those rare occasions it may exist in such schools) is measured in aggregate, with the individual meaning nothing to the system or bureaucracy. So it is for most individuals in the classrooms, too.
Do you think "aggregate-schoolers" will catch on among homeschoolers in the know? Or do you have a more poetic euphemism to propose?

I like it
Nice one. It's definitely less subtle as an insult. Perhaps I can use both of them depending upon how insulting I wish to be.

Here's one
"Aggregate-schoolers" is fine, but perhaps a bit abstract. How about "herd-schoolers"? It's less subtle, has greater potential for delivering an insult (not sure if that's a plus or a minus, but there it is) and attacks the same fundamental weakness of the classroom as "aggregate-schoolers." Thoughts?
