Some supposed Christians have been debating (online) the Antichrist, specifically whether or not President-elect Osama would qualify. Besides those who worship Obama Bin Laden, there are those who have no clue about the Antichrist or antichrists. The Bible is quite clear on the matter.

There will be many antichrists and one big Antichrist. The latter will be the one to lead the war against God's people during the Tribulation and reveals himself by brokering a seven-year, false peace between Israel and her enemies. (He later stands in the Temple and declares himself to be god.) In addition to this big Antichrist, though, there will be many "little" antichrists. An antichrist is merely someone who stands against Christ (1 John 2:22; 1 John 4:3; 2 John 1:7). Really, this could be applied to billions of fools. When the Word speaks of antichrists, though (e.g., 1 John 2:18), it generally means noteworthy foes. At least in this sense, our President-elect clearly qualifies, for his values are overwhelmingly in opposition to Christ's. Obama Hussein is an antichrist. Whether or not he's the Antichrist remains to be seen.
