Working late last night on lesson plans away from home, I had the opportunity to eavesdrop on a group of Christian 20-somethings discuss several in-depth issues. This is an interesting proposal about the end of this age. It's nebulous enough that no exact date is proposed. I personally think Ussher's timeline is probably correct, but if there is error there, this alternative may be viable. As for the seven-millennia theory, it would make a nice parallel, to be sure, but there's nothing in Scripture that insists upon it.
